Samsung most powerful phone is coming, samsung galaxy Note 20, Note 20 ultra specification, news about phone.

We have the official revealing of the Samsung galaxy Note 20  and the Note 20 ultra and all that's coming up right after this. So today we've had so   many leaks on the galaxy Note 20,  i'm not even sure where to start we've got the official marketing renders the full spec in design revealed for both models   of the Note 20. the Note 20 is going to be specifically optimized for xcloud streaming and of course we have a wireless DEX.

now before we get started,   please like the blog if you're looking forward to the Samsung unpacked event, let me know in the comments, what phone you're watching this blog on and if   you plan to upgrade soon but the first news of the day is the full spec leak   and design for the standard galaxy Note 20. the standard Note 20 is of course   a smaller and cheaper version but it appears that it has more downgrades than   we anticipated. the full spec and design leak comes from winfuture who published   a report along with several marketing images. we already knew that the Note 20   would be a smaller flat screen display but it turns out while it will be a 6.7  inch am OLED display.

It's only going to have a 60hz refresh rate and it's   going to come with a lower resolution of 2400 by 1080. thankfully there's still   an in-display fingerprint scanner on the standard Note 20 and it will also   have the 10 megapixel punch hole selfie camera when it comes to the rear of the   Note 20, we don't get the 108 megapixel sensor but instead we've got the same 12 megapixel primary shooter that can be found in the S20 that comes with a   12 megapixel ultrawide camera and a 64 megapixel telephoto lens the telephoto   will offer three times hybrid zoom and thirty times digital zoom. so while it is   a downgrade from the Note 20 ultra.

We still expect it to take decent photos win future have also confirmed that the smaller Note 20 will not have micro SD card support in that there will be a 4g and a 5g version of the smartphone.  probably the most upsetting news for those waiting on the standard galaxy Note 20. though is that where we would normally expect a glass back, it is of course going to be plastic. personally, i don't like plastic backs as it just does  make the phone feel that little bit less premium. the galaxy Note 20 is going to come with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB storage and it will of course have android 10   in the form of one ui 2.5. it's all powered by a 4300 milliamp hour battery   and it has support for wireless charging as well as reverse wireless charging.   the S pen is also going to have a higher latency of 26 milliseconds unlike the   nine found on the ultra but for those worried about water damage it will be   IP68 water resistant.

Now next up we've got the detailed specs and design for the Samsung galaxy Note 20 ultra and thankfully, this is the flagship. we've hoped for again it was wind future that leaked the design and the spec sheet. they reveal a 6.9 inch super amOLED display with a resolution of 3200x1440. it gives us 508 pixels per inch and it's also a 120 Hz display.   the great thing about the Note 20 ultra is that the adaptive display is going to run at 60 hertz. when it's not required or supported and then it's going to RAMp up to 120. when it can and this is of course to save battery life. we've got   the curved screen on both of the edges, we still have an in-display fingerprint scanner we've got the 10 megapixel punch hole selfie camera in the top centre  on the rear of the Note 20 ultra. we get a 108 megapixel primary sensor and this   has been improved with the laser auto focus sensor as well as dual pixel autofocus. we get two more 12-megapixel sensors as well we get one with a wide   angle lens and an aperture of f2.2. other is a telephoto with five times optical zoom.

the base variant of the Note 20 ultra comes with 12 GB of RAM   in 256 GB or 512 GB storage. we also get micro sd card support to further expand this. the Note 20 ultra also has a glass back and it's powered by a 4500 milliamp hour battery and all versions of the ultra will be 5g. it has an S pen with   an impressive 9 milliseconds response time and it runs android 10 in the form   of one ui 2.5 excitingly. we also have news of xcloud support and optimization   as well as a Samsung wireless DEX both versions of the galaxy. Note 20 are going   to be optimized for project x cloud game streaming service they've worked  with Microsoft to deliver a seamless experience. that's going to allow Samsung to finally make that push into the gaming market. users of the galaxy Note 20 are going to have access to the streaming service as well as their xbox game.

We also have news of a new wireless decks but this is apparently only going to be available on the Note 20 ultra. it's going to allow users to project their Note 20 desktop mode to their tv or supported display over wi-fi   now this is a great new feature but the specific details are still relatively unknown as soon as we hear more I will of course update with the launch of the   5th of august. it was always likely that we'd start hearing so much more of course for those that want the detailed specs. we're going to run   through them for each model of the Note 20 for my regular subscribers you guys. If you're new here then hit subscribe now and we're gonna get right into it the Samsung galaxy Note 20 is going to be the smaller device coming in with a 6.42 inch OLED  display at a resolution of 2345x1080 .which gives us 404 pixels per inch there's a lot of conflicting leaks. when it comes to refresh rates with many   claiming the smaller Note 20 is going to come with the 60 hertz screen and many others claiming it will be a 120 hertz display. it's gonna have an aspect   ratio of nineteen and a half by nine be protected by gorilla glass 6 and it is of course a full screen display with an in-display fingerprint scanner and punch hole selfie camera.

 we still haven't had confirmation on the sensor that's going   to be used for the selfie camera but many are speculating that it will be the   10 megapixel sensor that we're used to seeing. when it comes to the rear we've   got a quad camera setup on the standard Note 20 it's a 12 megapixel main a 64   megapixel telephoto a 12 megapixel ultra wide and a 3d timer flight depth sensor. powering the phone is going to be the new snapdragon 865 plus in north America and a couple of other regions globally. however it will of course be the exynos, there's many claims suggesting that it could be the exynos 992. which is a 5 nanometer chipset but personally I just don't think this is correct   Samsung are most likely going to be saving the 992 for the S21 and give us the 990 or at least an overclock version in the Note 20 being the smaller version.  

It's expected to come with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB storage which is the same as   its predecessor and this seems plenty for such a powerful device it's going   to be powered by a 4300 milliamp hour battery with 25 watt fast charge support but there's unfortunately gonna be no three and a half mil headphone jack.   it's gonna have bluetooth 5, wi-fi 6 and come with android 10 in the form of one ui 2.5 and it will of course be 5g compatible. the galaxy Note 20 is going to be ip68 water resistant it will of course come   with the S pen.

When it comes to pricing although nothing's been   confirmed we're expecting a launch price of around 999 dollars.

Next up we've got the Samsung galaxy Note 20 ultra, the Note 20 ultra is of course the largest model of the two coming with a 6.9 inch OLED display at a resolution of 3096 by. this gives us 497 pixels per inch and it is of course a 120 hertz display. the galaxy Note 20 ultra is going to be a full screen display with an in-display   fingerprint scanner and a punch hole selfie camera. the display is of course   going to be protected by gorilla glass 6 and while we haven't had it confirmed we're hoping that the Note 20 ultra is going to allow users to run 120 hertz at the full quad hd plus resolution. when it comes to the rear of the galaxy Note   20 ultra we again have the rectangular camera housing and a quad camera setup.   the main camera is a 108 megapixel wide angle with an aperture of F1.8. it's got face detect auto focus, laser autofocus and optical image stabilization. we get   a 13 megapixel telephoto lens with an aperture of f 3.4 this has phase detect   autofocus optical image stabilization and it's a periscope lens capable of five times optical zoom. we get a 12 megapixel ultra wide with an aperture of f 2.2 and again this has face detect auto focus. finally we get the additional laser focus sensor the camera setup is very similar to the s20 ultra but given the focusing issues that that had they've replaced the timer flight sensor with the laser focus.

they've also got rid of the 100x space zoom as it was a bit of a gimmick and not much use to consumers and they've now put a 50 times cap in place. the Note 20 ultra will of course be powered by the snapdragon 865 plus in the snapdragon regions and the exynos 990 or the 992 globally. it's gonna come with 12 GB of RAM and a choice of 256 or 512 internal storage. it's going to be powered by a larger battery while the capacity hasn't been confirmed. it's expected to be between 4500 and 5000 milliamp hours. again we've got no three and a half mil headphone jack but it will have bluetooth 5, wi-fi 6 5g connectivity and be ip68 water resistant. it's going to come with the s pen and a new pointer feature and while earlier leaks suggest, that it would be called the galaxy Note 20 plus. we now know from certification that it's the Note 20 ultra. so no pricing leaks have come forward yet but many leakers have suggested, it's going to be their most expensive yet. it's expected to be more than the s20 ultra so a launch price of at least 1450 dollars could be on the cards both Note 20 are going to be launching alongside other phones at the online only unpacked event on the 5th of august for those wanting to tune in it's going to be broadcast on Samsung.com as well as Samsung's youtube channel. of course, as more information comes to light, i'll be sharing it with you guys straight away but as always i'd like to know your thoughts in the comments. who out there is waiting for the galaxy Note 20 and what do you think of the standard Note 20 after these new leaks but thanks for reading the blog, if you liked it smash the thumbs up, if you didn't hit the thumbs down twice and i'll see you guys in the next one you.
